Storage period is 24 months, subject to storage and transportation conditions.
After the warranty period of storage has expired, the products must be checked for compliance with the declared characteristics and, if they comply with the declared characteristics, the period of storage may be extended.
To maintain the quality and appearance of Akustiline Urban panels, the following storage and transportation conditions must be observed:
1. Storage Conditions
- Panels shall be stored and operated under dry or normal temperature and humidity conditions in accordance with the requirements of SP 50.13330.2012.
- In a clean, dry, and well-ventilated area.
The following storage conditions are unacceptable:
- Outdoors;
- In areas with high humidity or poor ventilation;
- In places exposed to precipitation or damaging substances.
2. Stacking for Storage and Transportation
Panels shall be reliably protected from mechanical damage, moisture, and aggressive substances.
- Panels must be transported and stored only in a horizontal position.
- Maximum of 25 panels per stack.
- Transportation must be in a single tier, without stacking other goods on top.
Recommended pallet stacking scheme:
- Pallet;
- Cardboard underlay;
- Panels facing up;
- Interleaving paper;
- Two rows of panels placed back-to-back;
- Another layer of interleaving paper.
3. Long-Term On-Site Storage
During long-term storage, it is necessary to ensure the panels are ventilated. Rearrange the packaging and insert wooden slats or gypsum board strips between the panels to ensure air circulation without damaging the galvanized or painted surface.
In cold rooms, spacers made of foam plastic or extruded polystyrene foam 20–30 mm wide are recommended.
This measure prevents condensation and corrosion from forming on the metal mesh surface.
